Over the last couple of years, we have all been captivated by Laura Gottlieb’s Out of the Box program on Facebook Live. For Selichot, a time when we prepare to enter a new year, Laura will be live and in person in our beautiful tent, leading us through a fascinating exploration of High Holidays past at the various homes of TBE. This is particularly exciting, since this fall we will become the home of the newly formed Center for Michigan Jewish Heritage, a combined effort of the Federation’s Simons Archives and our Franklin Archives. The evening will include wine & cheese, and a chance to explore some photos and documents from the past.
Following the program, our clergy will lead us in a lovely outdoor Selichot service.
