BETY (Grades 9-12)
Beth El Temple Youth (BETY) is our group for teens in grades 9-12. BETY focuses on the development of Jewish identity and a connection to Jewish life. It’s a supportive, caring and welcoming space for all, where teens will be empowered by peers to learn and lead. We have committed, enthusiastic clergy and staff who serve as accessible and fun role models. All our teens learn and connect in ways that are meaningful and significant. There are social activities as well as community service opportunities. The highlight of the year will be our class trip to Washington DC January 26-29, 2024 for the L’taken Conference with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. The Beth El Temple Youth Group is growing, and we welcome all high school students to be a part of it.

JBETY (Grades 6-8)
JBETY is our youth group for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade middle schoolers. JBETY serves to keep teens involved in the pre and post Bar/Bat Mitzvah years while also providing them with a smooth transition into our high school program. JBETY offers events ranging from social action to fun social evenings. The highlight of the year will be our Shabbaton overnight at Zehners Splash Village in Frankenmouth scheduled for March 1-2, 2024. We hope to see everyone at all our exciting new JBETY events this year!

BETY 35 (Grades 3-5)
BETY 35 brings our elementary students together for fun and socializing at the Temple. We offer a variety of activities for students on Sunday afternoons. The highlight of the year will be our annual BETY35 lock in at temple scheduled for May 4-5, 2024. It’s going to be an awesome, fun filled year and we can’t wait to have your child(ren) join us!

BETY K2 (Grades K-2)
BETY K2 brings our youngest elementary students and their families together for fun, socializing and celebrating Shabbat. We offer two activities just for the kids on Sunday afternoons, and two Family Shabbat programs for families on Friday evenings. Here’s an opportunity for ECC reunions and Masa friends to spend more time together.

Purim Carnival
Purim is an exciting and fun holiday which all Jewish child(ren) look forward to, and our annual Carnival is a highlight of our year! We dress up in our fun costumes, read the megillah as a community, shake our graggers, and then it’s Carnival time! The carnival is run by our youth and is our largest fundraiser of the year. The funds we raise go directly to help support all of our youth groups and activities.
