Acts of Kindness and
Community Spirit

Our 30 Days of Gratitude at Temple Beth El was a month full of meaningful moments that celebrated the strength of our community and the power of kindness. Together, we reflected on the blessings in our lives and gave back to those in need, carrying that spirit of gratitude with us into the future.

The Epstein/Stotland Community Shabbat Dinner set the tone for this gratitude-focused initiative, bringing families and friends together in a warm and festive atmosphere, united by tradition and shared experiences. The Kid-ish Club Tot Shabbat at All Seasons was an uplifting event, where children shared love and light with elderly residents, brightening their day and strengthening the bond between generations. These intergenerational connections remind us of the importance of sharing time, love, and wisdom across all ages.

The Gratitude Wall provided a space for reflection, where members expressed their thanks, serving as a visual reminder of the abundance we share in our community. Our ECC students also created their own Gratitude Wall, sharing their voices about what they are thankful for at TBE’s ECC. From expressing gratitude for the amazing staff and the friendships they’ve formed, or the joy of sharing Shabbat as a community, our youngest members beautifully reminded us of the impact of their TBE ECC experiences and the importance of community in their lives.

Our ECC families once again embraced the spirit of compassion by adopting a family for the holidays, bringing joy and support to those in need, and exemplifying the true meaning of giving.

Extending into December, the success of our Candemonium drive was another highlight, thanks to Masa’s efforts; the collected cans were donated to Yad Ezra, helping provide nourishment to families in need within our community.

Throughout the month, we encouraged acts of kindness—from small gestures that brighten someone’s day to moments of personal reflection on the good in our lives. These actions sparked a continued spirit of generosity, reminding us that kindness is contagious.

As we move forward, we carry this spirit of gratitude and kindness with us. Thank you to everyone who participated in making 30 Days of Gratitude a success. Your generosity and dedication help make Temple Beth El a place of support, love, and connection.

Let’s continue to build on this foundation, fostering hope, community, and kindness in the months ahead.
