• Jewish Learning Experience is designed to promote intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and the development of essential life skills, such as communication and leadership.
• By participating in the Jewish Learning Experience and earning college credits, participants will be better prepared to engage in higher educational learning and discussion.
• The program is focused on deepening participant’s connection to Jewish heritage, culture, and faith, helping them to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of their history and traditions.
Beginning in January, 2025, Temple Beth El will be offering Contemporary Halachah: Jewish Ethics. In this class, students will explore Jewish ethics – both the context and time in which they were lived and practiced as well as the way we understand these ancient laws in our lives today. The ultimate goal is for students to develop an understanding of these fundamental pieces of our tradition and determine how they might apply the underlying values to challenging ethical decisions in their own lives.
