Join us on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Beth El as we explore “Israel at 75: The Detroit Jewish Press Reports on the Growth of a Nation,” a pop-up exhibit and presentation with its curator, Mike Smith. This program is free and open to the public, registration required.
Through a series of panels, this exhibit explores Israel through the eyes of Jewish Detroit. Travel back throughout Israel’s history as reported by the Detroit Jewish Chronicle and Detroit Jewish News. Each panel of the exhibit will tell a part of Israel’s story, from its founding, through the ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies and everything in between.

The Joan Meyers Jampel Center for Michigan Jewish Heritage and Temple Beth El are proud to host a special pop-up exhibit, “Israel at 75,” from March 15, 2024 – April 15, 2024, located in the sanctuary lobby of Temple Beth El.
