(author of Sacred Housekeeping and founder of Beit T’Shuvah)
This year’s Elul theme is Sacred Housekeeping: finding meaning in everyday tasks. Over the course of the month we want to help you cleanse some element of your physical surroundings (no matter how big or how small) and prepare your soul for the new year in the process. We will begin by reading Sacred Housekeeping, the book by Harriet Rossetto whose name inspired our theme, for our August Bites and Books selection. Then, on the first four Thursdays of September, I will be on Facebook Live at 2pm interviewing four different professionals whose work directly relates to Sacred Housekeeping.
Best of all, each of these Jewish community members (three of whom are local business owners) is offering a prize package that you can win by answering the themed question we pose after the broadcast!
We are so excited for these experts to guide and inspire all of us in taking control of our surroundings as we prepare to welcome 5783.
