Giving Opportunities...

Tzedakah (righteous giving) is one of the oldest and most strongly held principles of Judaism. One way to perform tzedakah is donating to one of the Temple’s various tribute funds. Many make a donation to Temple in honor of a family simcha (joyous event) or in memory of a loved ones’ Yahrzeit (anniversary of death).

We offer a variety of meaningful ways to honor or remember a loved one or friend on the occasion of their Birth, Consecration, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Confirmation, Graduation, Engagement, Marriage, Anniversary or any milestone. These include:

• Purchasing a Simcha Leaf on Temple Beth El’s Simcha Tree.
• Memorializing a loved one with a Yahrzeit Plaque.
• Honoring a loved one with a dedicated bench, adorned with an engraved plaque.
• Dedicating one of the 18 tribute trees we have planted on Temple grounds,
specifically planted for the purpose of honoring a loved one or occasion.
