We hope that you have been able to enjoy a nice Hanukkah! Even with the reality of Covid, this is a time to celebrate the triumphs in our past and to express gratitude for the heroes that continue to light our way. And while none of us could have imagined the distress that Covid would bring us in 2020, there have also been heroes, triumphs, and beauty.
Temple Beth El is a place to learn and grow. It is a place to worship and celebrate, to volunteer and mourn and connect. More than anything else, Temple is a place where we can walk through life together with a spiritual family that shares our concerns, cares about us, and is ready to work hand-in-hand in order to overcome any challenges.
It has taken a substantial effort to keep TBE active and engaged for the past 9 months. From virtual services to creative holiday celebrations to beautiful life cycle moments to the personal outreach to all of our members – we are feeling incredibly proud of this congregation.
This year, more than ever, it is crucial for us to join together in supporting our Temple. We recognize that many are facing financial challenges, but if you are in a position to help, please be extra generous in this year’s Annual Appeal. Every additional dollar will help ensure that we are able to provide all the comfort, inspiration, and tradition that our members will be seeking in the coming months and years.
If you have any questions about the Annual Appeal, or Temple in general, any of us would be happy to talk … or feel free to contact our Executive Director, Daniel Mesa, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 248-851-1100. On behalf of our clergy, staff, and Board – we wish your entire family a happy and healthy 2021!
