DESCRIPTION:The Klezmer Academy at Temple Beth El\n\nSeptember 2024 - March
  2025\n\nJoin us for a fantastic opportunity for intermediate and advanced
  musicians to explore the vibrant tradition of Klezmer music.\n\nThe group
  will be open to 7-12th graders playing wind\, string\, or percussion inst
 ruments.\n\nRehearsals will run from September 2024 to March 2025 on\n\nSu
 ndays from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.\n\nThe first session is on September 22nd
 .\n\nStudents will also be given multiple performance opportunities throug
 hout the year.\n\nThe group will be directed by Alan Posner who is a found
 ing member and former director of the Kidz Klez Band of Michigan\, musical
  director of the professional Detroit Klezmer band "Klezundheit"\, and ban
