A Celebration, A Parade and Candy Apples too!
SHABBAT, SIMCHAT TORAH AND CONSECRATION
Join us Friday, October 1 at 7:00 pm, as we observe Shabbat and celebrate Simchat Torah and Consecration.
On Simchat Torah, we celebrate the cycle of the Jewish year, reading the last verses of Torah from the book of Deuteronomy and the first verses from Genesis. We celebrate this ending and beginning in song and dance and a parade, passing the Torah from parent to child, as it has been passed from generation to generation.
We celebrate another beginning with Consecration, marking the start of formal religious education at Beth El for all new students up to second grade.
And we end this with a super sweet Oneg. Our thanks to the Ambassadors for once again providing the candy apples!

A SERVICE TO OUR MEMBERS
“The Listen In To
Shabbat Program”
When you cannot be here in person for Shabbat Services, we will bring the services to you!
Dial up Friday evening or Saturday morning Shabbat services on our special phone line. Listen to all or part of the service. You may remain on the line throughout the service or dial in for a selected portion such as the recitation of kaddish or the Rabbi’s sermon.
This dial-in Shabbat service is available at no cost, thanks to the generosity of the Babs and Herb Kaufman Listen-In Fund.
