MEMBER ADMISSION A Temple Membership Card also entitles you to attend High Holy Day Services. Each adult family member will receive an individual card. Members’ children, ages 10-21, college students up to age 25 and dependents in a member’s household will also receive a card. Children under 10 will feel more comfortable attending Children’s Services.
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION Some individuals have severe reactions to perfumes, colognes and after-shave lotions. We understand and respect everyone’s right to wear fragrances; however, we request you consider limiting your use of fragrances when coming to Temple events.
SEATING Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Thirty minutes before services begin, all vacant seats, with the exception of one seat for drivers and ushers’ seats, will be filled. Your cooperation is appreciated.
BABY SITTING Baby sitting service is available by reservation only. Baby sitting for children 2 1/2 years (toilet trained) and older will be available for the 10:30 am services on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. For reservations, call (248) 865-0615, press 2.
YOM KIPPUR MEMORIAL SERVICE The 4:30 pm Memorial Service on the Day of Atonement is a solemn service of remembrance during which we read the names of those loved ones who have died since last Yom Kippur. Names to be read must be received in the Rabbis’ Study no later than Wednesday, October 5.

PRAYER BOOKS Gates of Repentance, the Reform Jewish Prayer Book, published by the Central Conference of American Rabbis, will again be used this year. Temple Beth El does not furnish prayer books. Individual copies may be purchased at the Temple office before September 26 for $25.
COURTESY TRAVEL FORMS Members planning to be out of town for the High Holy Days may request a Courtesy Form from our office entitling them to admission, space permitting, to any Reform Temple affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. Arrangements must be made in advance.
