Through the wisdom of our sages we are taught that Torah is a Tree of Life. All that we have known, all that instructs us in our interactions, all that we can hope to accomplish as children of God, is contained within it’s pages.

From the harmony of family to the ecology of our planet, from our inclination to war, to the supremacy of love- all of life- every aspect is there, waiting for our discovery, waiting to share its wisdom and its guidance. Thus it is a "Tree of Life"- living, dynamic, evolving from which we draw sustenance in every generation.
To study Judaism as a response and way of life is to study Torah.

At Temple Beth El, we study Torah from the youngest child named before her congregation, to the eldest member honored with veneration. Whether at play or through serious inquiry- our programs are enmeshed in Torah.

Each program we offer is an offshoot of this central tree- a veritable orchard of learning. We invite you to enter the orchard, to play, to learn and to grow with us. Study Torah with us. Make Judaism happen for yourselves and for your children. Grab hold of the Tree of Life. We'll discover her ways together!
